Rome Shopping Spree

Rome shopping is much more than just plain shopping. The incredible prices that leave you drooling and reaching out for your credit card are in the months of January to February and in late July. These are when shops unload their items for the next season's hottest trends.

Stores open from 9 or 9:30 am to 1 pm and then again from 3:30 or 4 pm to 7 or 7:30 pm. There may be some shops open the entire day so it would be a good idea to check on the opening times. The good thing about the long afternoon break is that this gives you the chance to maybe carbo load? There are more than 300 spaghetti dishes to choose from! Well, let's not get too full, we don't want to get sleepy for the afternoon spree!

Shops

Benetton
Piazza di Spagna 67/68/59
Tel: +39 06 6758241
I've never been a Benetton fan until I saw the 2007 collection. Love it! There are several shops in Rome but I've only put the Piazza di Spagna address so after some happy shopping, you can take a break at this gorgeous square. Bring your trendy sunglasses and look snobbish for that pic to show off to your friends back home!

Discount dell'Alta Moda
Termini 06/47825672
Via Agostino Depretis 87/88, Rome, Italy
Via di Gesu e Maria 16, tel: 39-06-3613796
Last year's designer trends sold at 40 to 50% off! Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not or sometimes you're verrry lucky. Top off your Rome shopping spree with a great find!
